Global corruption worsens as US ranking falls, report finds
Transparency International's latest report shows that global corruption is at its worst level in over a decade and its worldwide score is just 42. In this report the concerns have been raised especially the United State of America, as its score went down to 64. The main reason for this decline is the weakening independence of institutions, such as the Federal Reserve and the cutting in overseas funding. While Singapore and Denmark remain among the cleanest nations, the report states that 122 out of 180 countries face failures to prevent the corruption.
